Things to do in Tampa Bay June 21-28 2015
If you’re new in town or visiting for the week, besides stopping by Scores Tampa, here are some events you can check out.
Tuesday night get ready to rock as Def Leppard performs at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre with the Styx. You can get lawn seats for $25, however seats in the venue go up to $125.
Rays fans can attend Rays on the Runway. The Tampa Bay Rays’ wives host this annual fundraiser at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront every year. They team up with upscale clothing lines and players, coaches, executives and “dream children” model the fashions. This event is Wednesday and tickets range from $125-$250. Bark at the Ballpark is Saturday night at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. This is always a fun event to bring the pooch and watch some baseball. Its free parking, and tickets are $4-$6 plus proceeds benefit the Animal Coalition of Tampa.
Grab some friends and head out to the Summer Beer Olympics! You and your crew and compete in flip cup, beer pong, and cornhole on this five-stop beer crawl Saturday in downtown Dunedin. Tickets are $20 if you buy them this week or $25 day of and it all benefits the Rotary International. (727) 238-7384 for more information.
If your into art you have to stop by the Tampa Museum of Art and see “In Living Color: Andy Warhol and Contemporary Printmaking” T he exhibition features some of Warhol’s most iconic screenprints, including the Marilyn Monroe. The museum is located in downtown Tampa at 120 Gasparilla Plaza.
It summertime so Adventure Island is always a fun place to cool off. Island Nights is at AI and they have extended thier hours for a tropical sunset celebration with live music, sand sculptures, the Island Taco Truck and live entertainment. Adventure Island is located 10001 McKinley Drive in Tampa.
